The sound of running water

A rainstorm passed through last night, after which I brought in the trash cans. As I walked up the driveway, I enjoyed the sound of the fallen rain making its way to the lowest point of our property.

This reminded me of a list by architect Michael Sorkin called “Two-hundred fifty things an architect should know”. Number eighty-five on his list is:
