Always Carry Cash
I rarely carry cash. My ancestors are probably confused by this, but debit and Venmo are so convenient.
Too often tho I’ve found myself in a scenario where cash would make a big difference. A tip for a service professional, save a small business from paying processing fees, for the down and out guy on my office corner, or maybe to split the a shared meal bill.
There’s more friction for me to ensure I have cash on hand, but I’m realizing that the act of doing so might shift my mindset to be more generous with those around me.
This publication is the “fatherly advice” portion of dadsigner.com. I see these twice/week, 100-word essays as “thought sketches”. I’m often workshopping ideas in public. Dialogue is not only encouraged but appreciated.
